Through Find courses, activities, and resources to learn about outdoor adventure and how to get outside safely and responsibly. Also called "Mountaineering", alpine climbing will take you to the highest peaks in the Cascades and beyond. The independent WFA certification that comes with course expires after two years, but the Mountaineers offers an additional grace year for the purposes of completing a course or leadership requirement within the Mountaineers organization.
